Do those plastic/vinyl suction cups really work as fasteners to the wall? Don’t they fall off after a while?
Say you want to buy a soap dish for your stand-up shower. You go to the hardware store and see a soap-dish that has those clear plastic/vinyl/I don’t know what suction cups on the back for adhering to the wall. Now, is that going to work? How long is it going to stay on the wall? Isn’t it better to screw/nail/stick it to the wall?
I had the same problem with my hanging shower basket with suction cups. They just wouldn’t stick to the porcelin tile, so I put some double back carpet tape in them and that solved the problem. Another way is to use some clear silicon bath tub caulk.
