Do you own any K-Tel records? If so what was you first K-Tel purchase or gift?
K-Tel was a company that began in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada back in the late 60’s by my former boss Philip Kives. Phil eventually ventured into other areas such as cook-ware, and household products. He eventually hired American ‘Ron Popeil’, who developed such wonders as the ‘Veg-O- matic’, and the ‘Feather Touch Knife’, along with various dicing and slicing contraptions, and quite possibly some groovy fishing devices!
But for me they were best known for their cheap vinyl LP’s, and small paychecks.

Well Smiley My first (Of many) K-Tel complialtion albums was actually a cassette that had quite an impact on turning little old pop teenager Me into a metalhead.
For the life of Me I can’t remember what it was called but I remember 4 of the songs on it quite well
