What shoes should I buy for competing on Wipeout?
I’ve been auditioning to be on the TV show ‘Wipeout’ and I think my chances are really good that I’ll be on the show – if you’ve never heard of it, it is a show where a bunch of people run through an obstacle course and get smacked around and stuff and the winner of the show gets $50k.
Anyway, I want to have the best chances possible of winning and one thing I am concerned about is my shoes. The show regularly shows people slipping on the wet rubber/vinyl obstacles and falling – I want my shoes to be like glue on it!! Can anyone recommend some really awesome shoes for wet slick environments?
To be honest once you get wet all the obstacles also get wet and slippery so it really doesn’t matter what kind of shoes you get. Once you start you don’t really think about it when you are running the course since you just go for it, and need momentum to do it. I don’t think there are any shoes that won’t slip on them. The show is called Wipeout and you can’t avoid that
