How much should I ask for for my vinyl collection?
I have a collection of around 2,500 7″ vinyl singles and about 900 12″ vinyl albums. These are mostly 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s. All genres of music are featured, so I’m finding it really difficult to put a price on these. I thought about 50p for each single and about £2 for each album. So, maybe looking for something like £2,500 – £3,000 – is this reasonable? Any guidance appreciated. Thanks.
You should do some research on the albums and see what they are worth. Have a look at what people are selling them on ebay. £2,500-£3000 is more than reasonable for that amount of vinyl.
