What do you think about people who have extremely large music libraries – such as 100GB or more?
I read an article the other day about a true musical packrat – he had a music library that exceeded 1,300GB (something like 300,000 songs)! It’s true that that’s on the more extreme side, but more and more I’ve seen/heard people with a ton of music on their hand, hundreds of GB, thousands of albums.
Do you think it’s better to have too much music rather than not enough, or do you think that it’s stupid and just another way for people to say “Look at me, look how different I am!”? If anyone out there has a large library, care to share some thoughts?
BQ: How many GBs of music do you have? (If you deal in mostly CDs/vinyls/etc. try to guesstimate)
I simply love all kinds of music and prefer it to having the television on.
BQ: Probably around 500GB, and over 1,000 CDs.
