Downloading Music for free. Good or Bad?
What do you guys think? What about under certain circumstances? For example, if you plan to buy the album later? Or if you lost your CD? Personally I like to buy albums in Vinyl and download the tracks off bit-torrent sites afterward for backup and to listen to in my mp3 player. Ive also downloaded music I plan to buy when I have the money, or to listen to and see if I’d like it. Do you think that’s wrong or something?
I don’t think it’s bad if you wouldn’t have bought the music otherwise.
For instance, I would find no reason to buy most music, but if I download to listen to music I definitely would not have bought, then how is anyone losing anything? In fact, they might even gain a customer if I like it enough to become a fan and go to concerts/buy cds and other merchandise.
