Hero Guitar Tabs Nickelback
Rock and heavy metal, once the preserve of a relatively small and fairly homogenous group, is now amazingly popular with all ages and backgrounds.
The reason for this is simple. Its called Guitar Hero. In what seems like the blink of an eye millions of people who can’t actually play a guitar, or any other instrument for that matter, are rocking away and playing till their fingers ache, using only a plastic guitar controller and a games console. Kids and adults alike are rocking for hours trying to master more and more complex songs.
It is without doubt a great gaming concept and one which thankfully gets away from the ‘lone kids in front of the computer screen for hours’ type of game. At least with Guitar hero they are standing up! Where this game really scores with a lot of people is that with the development of the extended games like Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band, which also include a drum kit and a microphone, it can be great for a group of friends or for the family to enjoy together.
So now everybody has a plastic guitar and they all look pretty much the same. But take a look at your Rock God of choice and you will notice that he has a designer guitar which doesn’t look like anybody else’s – its his individual style and his trademark. He will also have a range of different guitars to suit what he is playing or the mood he happens to be in.
Well how can you keep up with that without having to buy lots of different more expensive guitar controllers? The answer is that you get yourself a guitar hero skin. Or maybe build up a collection of a few of them so its like having lots of different guitars but without the expense. The skins, also called faceplates, are a vinyl cover which goes over the front of the guitar controller. They come in an incredible assortment of colours and designs and more are coming out all the time.
Whatever your preferences are there is sure to be just the skin for you. You can even have them custom made to your own design. Pretty cool maybe but likely to be a bit pricey for the average guitar hero. They do have a practical use as well as they serve to protect the guitar controller from scuffs, fingermarks and general dust and grime.
So if you really want to be individual and feel more like your hero get yourself some guitar hero skins. Go on, stand out from the crowd!

Aenima $10.86 With its heavy-duty distortion, weighty rhythms, and cynical lyrics, Tool is a heavy metal band for the ’90s. Rather like Metallica circa …And Justice for All, the sound is focused heavily on texture, with vocals and guitars layered one atop the other, and heart-pounding drums underlying everything. There’s not a whole lot of variety on Tool’s second full-length album–most of the songs start of… |
