Anyone know where I can get a CD by Carter Robertson? Or cassette tape?
I found out recently that my dad loves an artist named Carter Robertson, while we were going through his old vinyls. He never listens to those because he doesn’t want to mess them up, so I’d really like to get him something he could listen to on a regular basis and in the car and stuff. I know it would really mean a lot to him.
Unfortunately, Shoot the Moon is the only album she ever made, and it doesn’t seem that they ever put it on a CD. Does anyone know where I could download the songs or buy anything by her?
Thanks so much. If I can find anything at all, it would be a great surprise for my dad and I know it would really make him happy. Oh, and if anyone knows where I could get a record player that you can record cassette tapes off of the record, that would be really awesome…he said that’s what he wants to get, instead of one that just plays records. (He doesn’t know I’m looking for either of these.)
Why don’t you think about having the record transfered to CD either by a professional, or have a go yourself.

Rubber Soul $8.74 Rank ‘em how you like, Rubber Soul is an undeniable pivot point in the Fab Four’s varied discography no matter where, or how, you first heard it. The album was softened up in its original 12-song American edition to jibe with the Dylan/Byrds folk-rock sound, as well as squeeze money from the Parlophone catalog. The 14-song U.K. edition–the version now available on compact disc–is a different, m… |

Fashion Nugget $4.88 The twisted cover of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” is a statement of intent, while the cool jazz riffs from the band’s trumpet player are part of what makes tracks like “Daria,” “It’s Coming Down,” and “Frank Sinatra” so original. “The Distance” is a funked-up jam with a Chili Peppers chorus. –Jeff Bateman … |
