Will this generation have the “good old days” to look back on in the future?
I know a lot of people who are older than me look back on the “good old days” of music, when they would go out and buy vinyls, listen to full albums, go to afforable concerts etc. but will it be the same for this generation? In 20/30 years, will I be looking at these days as “good old days” or will I look back and say “Ew, I can’t belive what a sad state music was with MTV, Disney pop etc.”?
So essentially this is a bit of a will it get better or will it continue to spiral downward type of question? Will these days of music be my “golden years” as frightening as that sounds? Or will it save itself?
I’m not saying that there aren’t any good bands, I’m talking more about the state of the mainstream.
