Interior car spray paint?
Okay, a while back I bought some duplicolor vinyl/fabric spray paint. I heard god things about it and wanted to give it a try. It looked nice at first, i sprayed two door panels, and my back seat. Then it dried. I removed it off of the door panels because it felt like sand paper with laquer thiner. I tried the same on the seats. It worked, but not as easy as i had hoped. How would i remove that paint from the fabric? Just scrub with laquer thinner? or alcohol? I’m going to take the seats out to do this, any suggestions? color was originally a tan color, painted it black with the paint, I can see the tan in some spots, but its blotchy, in the mean time i covered the back seat up with a seat cover.
Hi Joe, here’s a website where I found info on vinyl paint for some old floor mats. The same stuff is supposed to work on other interior vinyl. A lot of the links go to vinyl paint manufacturers sites. You might be able to find a FAQ on one of those sites that answers your question. Hope this helps.
