During shipment, tissue packing paper became adhered to the nonfabric stripes on a jersey. How to get it off?
We recently ordered a Christmas gift (a football jersey) via eBay. After paying the seller $60, and receiving this damaged jersey, the seller has disappeared. The tissue paper the jersey was packed in evidently became too hot either in packing or shipment, and is now adhered to the vinyl-esque stripes on the jersey sleeve. How can I get the tissue paper off the stripes of this damanged jersey I’m now stuck with?
I would start with cold water and an old used toothbrush. Then move onto vinegar and water, then rubbing alcohol. If none of those work, take it to a dry cleaners for their advice.
