Their debut self-titled album was released in January of 1972, and they quickly followed it up with two other releases: “Tyranny and Mutation” as well as “Secret Treaties,” both released in the early 1970s. They were different from type of music that had appeared on the radio thus far, and that is what helped them sell records.

Perhaps part of the reason they stuck around is because of their originality and their desire to keep on touring even after all of these years.
