How to keep swallows from building a nest on your front Porch Stoop….its horrendous?
Some swallows ….maybe barn swallows have tried in the last week to build a mud nest under the stoop which is messy and will not be tolerated. There are plenty of places around and woods and I live in a new vinyl tract neighborhood with Thousands of houses 5 ft apart for Gods sake and I wonder why they picked mine since all the houses are carbon copies and there is activity and noise here.
So how do you get rid of them? I have washed down their small started mess on vinyl siding. I have tried vinegar and I am thinking beer smell too.
Can birds smell?
Sorry bird lovers there is no room for them or their mess on my 3ft wide stoop with them attacking us and children every time someone goes in or out and tracks in mud on the stoop. Thanks!
