Would appreciate information. Need it for a 50th wedding anniversary. Husband requested on radio before their wedding. He wants to play it for her at their 50th anniversary wedding party.
Edna Savage recorded Evermore b/w I’ll Be There on Parlophone Records R4017.
That was the easy part.
Obtaining a copy – that’s tricky.
Nothing on Ebay today.
Nothing on GEMM today.
Nothing on MusicStack today.
However, a little digging revealed that pretty much her entire discography was put onto one CD, titled Evermore, by Vocalion Records, release number CDLK 4120. Both GEMM and MusicStack have that title, but A: It’s going to cost at least $40 before shipping, and B: Neither seller actually has it in stock. They can get it special order, but you won’t see the disc for at least a month.
Amazon in the UK has one, but they want the equivalent of $120 for it.
I think I did come up with a good solution, though you may have to be patient with the site, as it is in Switzerland. Discplus has a copy, in stock (at least that’s how I interpret their site. If I’m wrong I apologize, as my German is well, non-existent) on clearance for about $12 US, and will ship internationally.
