How can I repair damaged vinyl flooring? (Moving a Fridge!)?
I damaged new vinyl flooring while moving the fridge into position. there now is a wrinkle about 18-20 inches long. It is an indentation with puckering on either side of it. Will heat applied to it cause the vinyl to shrink a bit and perhaps remove the wrinkle? I really don’t want to replace a section of the flooring. It’s the 120 ml Armstrong’s “Best” flooring that if free floating. Anybody ever successfully repaired this kind of damage?
Do your self a HUGE favor.Call the folks that installed the floor and have them come fix it. I built my ex wife and her boyfriend a brand new house. My daughter,then only 6, managed to peal up a small spot of very expensive inlay.The OEM installer fixed it for less than $100, and you could never tell. Or don’t fix it at all. because, As soon as the house was finished she sued for divorce and kept the house and I kept the payment! LOL!
