Trying to cover up metallic gold stars?
Okay, I posted this question the other day, but since, I have painted over these stars with white vinyl matt as it is all we had at home. But the bloody stars are still showing through!? I eventually want to paint the room with plain magnolia emulsion. What can I use to cover the stars once and for all and get the magnolia on in time for when my mum gets back from holiday? Will I have to use a white gloss? thanks
I did try and sandpaper the stars down before I painted over them! but they wouldn’t come off! seeing as I’ve already painted over them and they’re still showing through…should I just buy some gloss and paint the whole thing again? thanks
Sandpaper the stars down, if they have a glossy surface paint can sometimes not lay, same with the skirting board.
